About Us

What I most admire and love about my mum is her continued courage, strength and love of helping others, despite dealing with some of the hardest challenges in life that no other human being should have to face. But this never stops her. She embraces life and through God, believes that every test has been turned into a testimony and every trail turned into a triumph so that she may encourage and help others.

The Women of Praise Award was founded and organised by Pastor Julie Oyebobola the Co-Pastor of (ICCC) International Christian Celebration Centre to enable individuals to show appreciation to the women who have made a great impact in their life; by presenting them with an award and expressing in public their words of love to that special woman.

Are you looking for an opportunity to appreciate any Special woman who have made an impact in your life and the wider society? If so, make your

Our Mission

Women of Praise Awards (WOPA) is an appreciative award which is aimed at giving individuals the opportunity to appreciate and encourage not only well known women of God but also the women all around for their good work in their family, church, society or community who are dedicated in spreading love and kindness through their actions. A great number of women do not get recognised who have been doing great things in the life of others for many years and are being discouraged one way or the other either by not receiving recognition for their hard work or not realising the impact they are actually making. WOPA creates a night which enables individuals to show appreciation to the women who have made a great impact in their life; by presenting them with an award and expressing in public their words of love to that special woman. The planning is done so that the women have no idea who is awarding them until the moment of receiving the award which adds that element of surprise and makes it even more emotionally touching and appealing.

Many women are very oblivious about the impact that they are making in the life of others and WOPA creates the avenue to make this possible and is a platform to encourage, appreciate and celebrate them for their good works. It is a yearly event and is in collaboration with the Women of Praise conference and the Royal Children’s Party an event held by Pastor Julie to recognise her birthday by having a day of entertainment for the children and also fundraising for various children organisations.

The Founder

Women of Praise Award is an organisation created in June 2011 by the ‘Women of Praise’ Ministry at the time known as the ‘Blessed Women Ministry’ incorporated by the International Christian Celebration Centre and founded by Pastor Julie Oyebobola who is the co-pastor of the International Christian Celebration Centre located in North London. Pastor Julie is married to Pastor Peter Oyebobola"Praisetek" founder of ICCC and Praisetek Ministries.

So is there a woman in your life that has been a blessing to you? A mother, friend, wife, pastor, aunty, sister.... WOPA is the opportunity to appreciate and award her. WOPA is standing on the word in Proverbs 31:31 “ Give her of the fruit of her hands; and let her own works praise her in the gates.” Women are doing great and mighty things in our society today and WOPA endeavours to assist in ensuring that they are being appreciated and their good work highlighted. As a Women of Praise Ministry it is our duty to carry out the following of which Women of Praise Award is included.
